Some dads can be notoriously difficult to shop for – they either have everything they could possibly want or need, or they have niche interests for which equipment

and accessories can be very expensive and specialist. Father’s Day is fast approaching, on June 21st, so you’ll need to start planning if you want that perfect present!

If you’re stuck for ideas and your dad also happens to be a ‘dad-preneur’, running his own business, you are in luck. We have some fantastic ideas to help you shop for the perfect present for your hard-working, self-made man of a dad. Here are just a handful of great Father’s Day gift ideas to get those cogs whirring:

  • A professional coffee machine. If your budget will stretch to it, this is an amazing gift for a hard-working dad, who will often have to put up with poor quality coffee during his working day. Go for a great-looking, portable model that makes incredible coffee – and he can enjoy a well-earned espresso between meetings.

  • Smartphone gloves. Not all Father’s Day gifts need to be expensive to be useful and appreciated. Take the example of smartphone gloves – which keep your hands warm in winter but still allow you to answer emails and tap away on your mobile device. A fabulous invention that only costs a few pounds, and your dad will really appreciate the thought.

  • Stylish travel accessories. If your dad has to travel a lot, he can at least do it in style. Get him a stylish laptop bag, or a leather-bound organiser for his passport, railcard or travel documents.

  • Portable speakers for his laptop or tablet. Many meetings are held via video conferencing online, but the sound on many mobile devices can be terrible. Your dad might appreciate a compact but punch-packing portable speaker, which he can also use to enjoy music and entertainment on his down-time.

  • A digital picture frame for his desk. Some people use them in their homes, but where a digital picture frame (or an external HD drive with a screen) really comes into its element is at work. What could be better than seeing all of your favourite snaps throughout your working day, with a new image of a treasured memory or loved one popping up just when you’ve had a tough meeting and need a boost?

  • Amazing noise-cancelling headphones. Sometimes, you just need to block out the world and take some time to enjoy some music, with fantastic sound quality of course. With a pair of exceptional quality noise-cancelling headphones, your dad can whack them on and escape from the noise, chaos and stress of the day and just a enjoy a little ‘me’ time.

  • A pulse-racing experience day. Unless your dad has already hit the heights and has his own luxury supercar, he’d love the chance to drive one at full tilt around a racing track. It’s the perfect way to de-stress and forget about work – and it can be really exhilarating!

  • USB-powered desktop fridge. Drinks and snacks become so much more refreshing (and convenient!) when they’re kept in a desktop fridge just inches from your keyboard. Treat your dad to one of these clever devices, and maybe put a cold beer and a sweet treat inside for an extra surprise!

  • A monthly foodie hamper. Busy dads on the go don’t always have time to buy or cook themselves delicious things to eat and drink, so why not arrange for lovely treats to come to them. Sign your dad up for a luxury food or drink (beer, wine and spirit tasting hampers are always a good idea) subscription and treat him to some scrumptious edibles – it’s the perfect gift for the entrepreneur who has everything!

Good luck, gift hunters!
