Earlier this month, the UK’s top business women came together for the highly anticipated grand final of the Forward Ladies National Awards 2017. Now in its eighth year, the prestigious awards ceremony took place in our very own city, at the Royal Armouries in Leeds city centre.
We’d like to say a huge congratulations to all of the winners! From the STEM Rising Star of the Year, Jessica Okoro, to the Outstanding Business Woman of the Year, Susanna Lawson, it was an evening full of inspiration and success. An evening that we were proud to be a part of, as regional partners of the event.
We thought it couldn’t get any better than last year, but throughout the ceremony we witnessed some truly inspiring stories from some incredible entrepreneurs. A driven leader that grew her business’ revenue by 300% in just five years, an inspirational CEO that built up an international business from the age of 18 and a motivated entrepreneur thriving in a male-dominated industry. It really was a fantastic experience and one that gave us plenty of food for thought. We’re already counting down the days until next year!
